Sudden Death | Thunder Bay 2019



NORTHERN, ONTARIO   ~~~~~~  July 4, 2021  (LSN)  Hardworking Red Lake OPP Officers responded yesterday, Saturday July 3,2021 to a call of violence in the community.

A woman had been assaulted, choked, unlawfully confined, along with having her cell phone stolen. Her car and another electronic device was also damaged.

OPP investigation resulted in a male being arrested.

A 24 year old HAYDEN DAVID LUMGAIR was criminally charged with:

  • -assault
  • -choking
  • -unlawful confinement
  • -mischief (damage electronic device)
  • -mischief (damage to motor vehicle)
  • -theft of cell phone

LUMGAIR spent the night in custody at the Red Lake OPP detachment and appeared by phone in Thunder Bay Bail Court today, Sunday July 4,2021 before His Worship, Justice of the Peace Jerry Woods.

LUMGAIR’S father Warren is proposing himself as a surety.

The court agrees to release LUMGAIR to go live with his mom Cindi and dad at their home in the 100 block of Howey Bay Road.

LUMGAIR has conditions:

  • -no contact with victim
  • -11pm to 5am curfew
  • -no weapons
  • -only allowed out during curfew if he is with his mom or dad.

The allegations have not proven in court.

His next court appearance August 19,2021 in Red Lake.
