WOMAN BEATER PLEADS GUILTY & RECEIVES ABSOLUTE DISCHARGE
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~ May 5, 2022 (LSNews) A 32 year old ALLAN PATERSON appeared in Courtroom 301 today, Thursday May 5,2022 to plead guilty to crimes of violence against a woman that occurred on December 29,2021
PATERSON was at the Chanterelle Restaurant on Park Avenue shortly after midnight on December 29,2021 drinking alcohol at a wedding event. He became beligerent and aggressive with other guests and staff.
PATERSON was asked to leave and once outside he assaulted a woman and choked her. Several bystanders were witnesses and intervened to help the victim.
Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were called and arrested PATERSON.
PATERSON was criminally charged with:
- -assault on woman
- -choking woman
PATERSON was held for the night at Balmoral Police Station and released by a Justice of the Peace.
PATERSON has no previous criminal record and he took some courses every week to learn how to not abuse women.
PATERSON was sentenced today to an absolute discharge.
TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis refused to tell the public about this. He doesn’t seem to care if women are victims of violence in our city. Inside Edition sources indicate that there may be other victims of PATERSON’S violence in our city.
