WHAT REALLY HAPPENED IN THE STABBING DEATH OF STEVEN BURNS?
Park Ave Homicide
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~ October 19, 2021 (LSNews) Inside Edition sources indicate that a drug related dispute started on Sunday October 17,2021 around 9:30pm inside Apartment 3 at 36 Cumberland Street South. It’s above the Deccan & Spice restaurant
That’s the apartment of local drug dealer Kylie Hancock. She has a history of violence and drug use and dealing. Addicts are showing up there 24/7 looking for more drugs. The amount of foot traffic to her place is quite astonishing.
The landlord is well aware of the drug dealing but looks the other way, as long as the rent is paid.
The dispute between STEVEN BURNS & KHALID ALI MOHAMED spilled out into the hallway of 36 Cumberland Street South as it became violent. It then went outside where MOHAMED pulled out a knife to stab BURNS to death.
Paramedics were unable to save BURNS who was pronounced dead at Thunder Bay Hospital.
Hardworking Thunder Bay Police quickly arrested MOHAMED.
TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS PUT OUT A MEDIA RELEASE ABOUT 8 HOURS LATER STATING IT WAS A SERIOUS ASSAULT, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS AWARE IT WAS A MURDER. He doesn’t like being transparent with the public.
MOHAMED was remanded into custody at the Thunder Bay Jail.
There are currently 2 hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers in the hallway outside KYLIE HANCOCK’S apartment. Foot traffic to her place has dropped to ZERO.
The crime scene on Park Avenue has been released by TBPS Officers.
