MURDER VICTIM IDENTIFIED as CONRAD JOSEPH BANNON

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~ November 4, 2021 (LSNews) Shortly after 12:00am this morning, a 31-year-old CONRAD JOSEPH BANNON was shot & killed at Thunder Bay Social Housing’s Spence Court, located at 230 Amelia Street West.
This social housing location has become a hot spot for violence in the city as Toronto drug dealers have taken over several units meant for Thunder Bay residents.
Residents in the building are fearful of the ongoing violence.
BANNON’S killer remains on the loose.
Spence Court along with McIvor Court were once for Senior House. For Senior to spend the last days Safely and Comfortably
Then they become housing for the Homeless and the Drug Dealers have taken control

COCAINE AND MORPHINE SEIZED IN DRUG BUST LAST EVENING
THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED.
- -27 year old CONRAD JOSEPH BANNON
- -33 year old TARA THERESE MACLAURIN
- -35 year old JONAH MACLAURIN.
A 27 year old CONRAD JOSEPH BANNON appeared by video in W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today, Saturday April 21,2018 from the Thunder Bay OPP Station. Her Worship, Denette Maslach is presiding. Federal Crown Ron Poirier is here along with Duty Counsel Lianne Roberge.
Court hears allegations that Bannon was arrested last night along with 2 other co-accused and a quantity of cocaine and morphine was seized.
Bannon was also alleged to have missed his most recent court date of April 17,2018 for other drug allegations when he was arrested on March 5,2018. He signed a promise to appear on that date, but failed to appear. Federal Crown Poirier says this is a reverse onus situation and the accused will need to show cause why he should be released. Her Worship Maslach explains the situation to Bannon.
Bannon asks”So there’s no way I’m getting released today ? Why not ? “
Maslach replies “I just explained it to you”
Bannon states “What am I going to do with my young daughter “.
Her Worship remands Bannon in custody to the Thunder Bay Jail. He’ll make another video appearance from jail on Monday, April 23,2018.
NEXT UP IS 33 year old TARA THERESE MACLAURIN. She has a lengthy criminal record with narcotics and is currently on parole. Federal Crown Poirier is not agreeing to her release. She’s being remanded to the Correctional Center and will appear by video on Monday, April 23,2018 at 10:45am
LAST UP IS 35 year old JONAH MACLAURIN.
He’s also facing cocaine and morphine charges but he’s also alleged to be obstructing a police officer and breaching his probation from previous criminal conviction. Federal Crown Poirier is not consenting. MacLaurin is being sent to the Thunder Bay Jail and will make a video appearance on Monday as well at 12:45pm
