DAVINCI CENTER BREAK & ENTER SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER BRIEF CHASE

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~ August 4, 2022 (LSNews) SUSPECT HAD CONCRETE CUTTING SAW TO TRY CRACK OPEN THE ATM Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a call from a citizen last night, Wednesday, August 3,2022 regarding a break & enter at 340 Waterloo Street South.
It’s alleged that Thunder Bay Police showed up and there was a suspect with a concrete saw cutter trying to open up the ATM inside the Davinci Center.
TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS REFUSING TO TELL THE PUBLIC AGAIN
The suspect ran from TBPS Officers but was quickly apprehended. Officers learned the suspect was on probation.
The ATM machine was badly damaged.
A 34 year old PAUL GARY TOWNSEND was criminally charged with:
- -break & enter Davinci Center
- -possession of break in tools
- -mischief (damage to ATM)
- -obstruct TBPS Officer by running away
- -breach of probation
- -possession of stolen property
TOWNSEND spent the night at Balmoral Police Station and was transported to the Thunder Bay Jail today, Thursday August 4,2022
TOWNSEND has a court appearance next week.
