ARREST MADE BY TBPS AFTER KNIFE ATTACK

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  May 7, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a knife attack call yesterday, Friday May 6,2022

Officers arrived quickly to investigate and made an arrest.

TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS IS REFUSING TO TELL THE PUBLIC AGAIN

A 26 year old MASON LEROY NAYOTCHEKEESIC was criminally charged with:

  • -carry weapon (knife) for purpose dangerous to public
  • -assault with a weapon (knife)
  • -breach of his November 19,2021 probation order

NAYOTCHEKEESIC was transported to Thunder Bay Jail today, Saturday May 7,2022 and has another court appearance on Tuesday May 10,2022

Sadly, TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis hasn’t told the public again.

He’s usually not transparent with the public.

TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis & his boss, Director of Communications Chris Adams have repeatedly ignored their job duties and put public safety at risk.

They won’t even tell the public about violent offenders in our city, nor will they show pictures of them to the public.

TBPS Police Chief Sylvie Hauth permits this laziness & incompetence to occur. Her leadership at TBPS is currently under criminal investigation by the OPP. Having two former TBLAZYWATCH employees working in communications at TBPS has been a disaster for years.

FORT SEVERN MAN WANTED ON 8 WARRANTS GETS ARRESTED BY THUNDER BAY POLICE.

OOPS! THE LAZY DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AT TBPS NEVER TOLD THE PUBLIC HE WAS WANTED OR ARRESTED.

Last night, Sunday August 23,2020 hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers arrested a very intoxicated 24 year old MASON NAYOTCHEKEESIC on warrants.

NAYOTCHEKEESIC had 4 committal warrants and 4 arrest warrants issued against him in Thunder Bay but the Director of Communications at Thunder Bay Police never told the public. He’s a real lazy Director of Communications.

NAYOTCHEKEESIC spent the night in a jail cell at the Balmoral Police Station and appeared by video in Bail Court this morning, Monday August 24,2020 before His Worship, Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio.

Provincial Crown Attorney Piera Pasloski is not consenting to the release of NAYOTCHEKEESIC.

He was transported to the Thunder Bay Jail and will make another court appearance on Wednesday

Another good job by hardworking TBPS Officers and another massive failure by the Director of Communications at TBPS

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~  December 26, 2022 (LSNews)   On December 14, 2022,  Monte McNaughton, Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. “That’s why our government is the first in North America to require naloxone kits be accessible in at-risk workplaces by June 1, 2023, to raise awareness for those struggling with addiction, reduce stigma and save lives.”
