WANTED MURDER SUSPECT ON BAIL CAPTURED BY THUNDER BAY POLICE
SUSPECT WAS ALSO WANTED ON A WARRANT FOR BREACHING BAIL
THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~~ May 16, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have arrested a man suspected to be involved in the shooting death of 41 year old JAMES ANTHONY CHAPAIS at a Thunder Bay Social Housing Unit on Pearl Street.
TBPS MEDIA RELATIONS COORDINATOR SCOTT PARADIS NEVER TOLD THE PUBLIC ABOUT A MURDERER ON THE LOOSE OR BEING ARRESTED
A 49 year old JAMES HOWARD HALVERSON has been arrested and criminally charged with:
- -first degree murder of JAMES ANTHONY CHAPAIS
- -breach of release order x 2 (contact with Vanda Halverson)
HALVERSON was out on bail for drug dealing charges from last September.
His coaccused in the murder, JAIME OSMAR was also a drug dealer out on bail. She is being held in custody at the Thunder Bay Correctional Center.
HALVERSON was held in custody overnight & will be transported to the Thunder Bay Jail today, Tuesday May 17,2022
A first degree murder charge is an automatic detention order. Only a Superior Court Justice can order bail.
TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis & his boss, Director of Communications Chris Adams both NEGLECTED to warn the public about an armed killer on the loose.
They still haven’t told the public about the arrest of JAMES HALVERSON.
Both of these guys are former TBLAZYWATCH employees who have put public safety at risk repeatedly over the years. Hiring TBLAZYWATCH employees to communicate for hardworking TBPS Officers was a very bad idea.
TBPS Police Chief Sylvie Hauth has allowed them to be incompetent for years.
