“We feel that Harrison is just scratching the surface in terms of the player he can be. It was fortunate that we were able to work out a trade to bring him into our training camp right from day one. Since then he has done all the right things, coming to the rink ready to learn and push himself every day” started Raftis when explaining the latest signee.

“He’s got great speed and a workhorse mentality. It will be only a matter of time before he sees evidence of his development as he gets more comfortable working with everyone in the Soo” he added.

One year ago (2021-22) Ballard played in 54 games with the Wellington Dukes of the OJHL where he had 28 points thanks to an even 14 goals and 14 assists.

“I’m very honoured and excited to sign and play for the Soo. It has always been a dream of mine to play in this league, and I’m ecstatic to play for one of the best and most storied franchises in the CHL.  I am really looking forward to learning from the coaching staff and playing in front of some of the best fans in the league” began Ballard before offering his personal thanks.

“I would like to thank all my past trainers and coaches for contributing to my development but most importantly my family for always supporting me and making many sacrifices for me to get to this point” Ballard concluded.
