Deadwolff Rock Thunder Bay on July 8

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  June 23, 2022  (LSNews)  Deadwolff is a New Wave of Heavy Rock n’ Roll three-piece band based out of Toronto, ON. Founded in 2020, Deadwolff is composed of Tommy Wolffe, on bass and vocals, Bobby Deuce, on guitars and backing vocals, Angus Pike on drums.

In late December of 2020, Boonsdale Records released the band’s debut EP digitally. Shortly after, Deadwolff signed with Metal Assault Records, based out of Los Angeles, and released their debut EP on cassette, which sold out quickly.

Their video for the single “Double up” was also released prior to the cassette and can be viewed on several youtube channels.

The concert will have local support from Wrong Odds, Shatterhorn, and the Selfies. 

Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is co-hosting this event to promote its upcoming festival September 8th to the 11th at the Definitely Superior Art Gallery! 

The 18th Annual Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is taking place from September 8th to the 11th in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The event will be held at the Definitely Superior Art Gallery in the old Cumberland Theatre at 115 Cumberland St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A 4K8 The festival will feature films of all genres from Northwestern Ontario, Canada and Internationally. There will be concerts, performance art, and a visual art exhibition, Q&As and discussions with the artists to share knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Select films and performances will also be available online during and after the festival.

Deadwolff is here to rock Thunder Bay on July 8th at Black Pirates Pub, co-presented by Vox Popular Media Arts Festival.

KENORA, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  November 8, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Kenora OPP Officers have taken about $3,000 of drugs off of Kenora’s streets after two arrests were made. 

OPP state that say on October 18, 2022 officers with the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Kenora Community Street Crime Unit and Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau joined Kenora OPP officers to conduct a search warrant on Garrow Road.

KENORA, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  November 7, 2022 (LSNews)  Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have charged an additional young person in connection to an October 27, 2022, incident in the community of Wabaseemoong.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, a 15-year-old, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with Robbery, contrary to Section 344 (1) (B) of the Criminal Code.
