ONE EYED CONVICTED KILLER WANTED ON SIX WARRANTS ARRESTED BY THUNDER BAY POLICE

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~  November 11, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have arrested a convicted killer wanted on six warrants by Thunder Bay Police. 

The indigenous male suspect was taken into custody by TBPS Officers yesterday, Thursday November 10,2022. 

It’s alleged the suspect failed to report to his Probation Officer when he was sentenced on September 8, 2022 for a robbery.

Andras Court Welfare Housing Drug Bust Again

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~   November 11, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers had received information and applied for a search warrant yesterday, Thursday, November 10, 2022. 

Officers had learned that a black male drug dealer was selling drugs in apartment 217 at 120 Cumberland Street South. 

The building known as Andras Court belongs to Thunder Bay Social Housing.  The apartment tenant is Anna Bannon who was allowing the Toronto area dealer to sell drugs out of her apartment.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~   November 11, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a robbery call yesterday, Thursday November 10,2022 at the Addy Bar located at 227 Simpson Street. 

Officers arrived quickly and learned that two female employees were assaulted and the Poppy Donation Box for Veterans was stolen. The female indigenous suspect fled the scene with the Poppy Donation Box.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  November 11, 2022  (LSNews)   In anticipation of the winter season, the City’s bike lanes will be “closed” from Nov. 15 to April 30. During this period, riders are still permitted to use bike lanes and roadways but must be aware that during the winter months, bike lanes will not be cleared of debris and may be used for snow storage as necessary.

Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a disturbance early this morning, Thursday November 10,2022 at 44 Trillium Way. 

Officers arrived shortly after midnight and learned a white male had been inside the residence, drinking alcohol & yelling loudly.

TBPS Officers learned an indigenous male suspect had smashed a window in the apartment building and had struck an indigenous woman with a baseball bat.

NORTH BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  November 9, 2022 (LSNews)  The Ontario government is taking another step forward to make roads safer and improve traffic flow in Northern Ontario. Today, the province issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a 2+1 highway pilot on Highway 11 north of North Bay.

A 2+1 highway is a three-lane highway with a centre passing lane that changes direction approximately every two to five kilometres. The highway model is used in other jurisdictions around the world and is more cost efficient than twinning a highway.

Officers arrived at 4:53am outside of 463 Rupert Street to find an indigenous male victim laying in the middle of the street bleeding profusely from five stab wounds to his left thigh.  

Superior North Paramedics arrived on the scene to transport the victim to hospital.

Officers located three males inside the residence, along with a quantity of drugs, paraphernalia & over $5000 cash.
