THUNDER BAY OPP ARREST WANTED CRIMINAL

Kam Current Road in Gorham Township

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  December 1, 2022 (LSNews)   Hardworking Thunder Bay OPP,  Police Officers responded to break & enter calls at two different garages located in the 300 block of Kam Current Road in Gorham Township. 

Officers located a white male suspect in a stolen Honda Accord. 

OPP located numerous stolen items with the white male suspect including knives, a Garmin GPS, credit cards and other items.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  December 1, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a break & enter last night at the Beer Store on Gore Street West. 

Officers arrived quickly and located the suspect with a break & enter instrument (hammer) 

Officers also learned the suspect was just arrested the day before for a liquor theft and released by the court.

ANDRAS COURT DRUG BUST BY THUNDER BAY POLICE

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~  December 1, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers busted two more very dark skinned Southern Ontario drug dealers yesterday, Wednesday November 30,2022.

Officers attended Apartment 207 at 120 Cumberland Street South & seized a quantity of cocaine, fentanyl and cash.

 Two black males from Southern Ontario were arrested.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~   November 30, 2022  (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a liquor theft call at the LCBO yesterday, Tuesday November 29, 2022. 

Officers learned an indigenous male suspect had stolen liquor from the 969 Fort William Road location. 

The suspect was identified and arrested.

CONVICTED KILLER GETS RANDOMLY VIOLENT AT MCDONALDS

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  November 30, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a call of violence yesterday, Tuesday November 29,2022 at the McDonalds restaurant located at 81 Cumberland Street North. 

Officers arrived quickly and learned that two people were randomly assaulted by an indigenous male suspect on probation. 

TBPS Officers also learned the suspect is a convicted killer with a history of violence.

Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

ORILLIA, SAULT STE MARIE, SUDBURY, THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~  November 30, 2022 (LSNews)  Detective Inspector Jordan Whitesell, Criminal Investigation Services release the following report 

Hundreds of charges have been laid across Ontario, a snapshot of the work done by investigators and analysts that make up the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet (Provincial Strategy).

The results of the investigations completed in October, named Project MAVERICK, were announced in a video release showcasing members of the Provincial Strategy. During the month, the 27 policing partners conducted 255 investigations, completed 168 search warrants and seized 1,032 devices. In total, 428 charges were laid against 107 people. During the investigations, 61 victims were identified and referred to appropriate community-based resources for assistance, while an additional 60 children were safeguarded. There are 175 ongoing investigations where additional charges may be laid.

DRUGS SEIZED AT A FESTIVE RIDE PROGRAM

DRYDEN, ONTARIO ~~~~~~ November 30, 2022 (LSNews)   Constable Brittany Bembeneck, reports in a Media Release that back on November 26, 2022 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Dryden Detachment were conducting a festive RIDE program on Highway 105 in the Township of Machin. A driver approached the RIDE program and was requested to provide a breath sample. The driver refused to provide a breath sample, at which point the driver was placed under arrest.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~   November 29, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have laid drug dealing charges on a suspected killer & accessory to murder. 

A 27 year old ISAAC TALBOT-HALL of Toronto and a 27 year old QUALYNN JENELLE LOON were both criminally charged with:

  • -possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

STAPLES ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED BY TBPS

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  November 29, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a robbery call yesterday, Monday November 28, 2022. 

It’s alleged that an indigenous male suspect was stealing merchandise in the Staples store at 767 Memorial Avenue. The suspect was asked to stop stealing and then pulled out a box cutter knife. 

The entire incident was captured on video surveillance.
