TBPolice observe spike in suspected fatal overdoses

last 24-hours police have been dispatched to five incidents

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  July 23, 2021 (LSNews)  TBay Police Medaia Release  The Thunder Bay Police Service is warning the public as the city appears to be facing an ongoing spike in overdose deaths linked to suspected fentanyl use.

Frontline officers have observed an apparent increase in suspected overdose cases recently, which has also been observed and publicized by other health and community agencies. In the last 24-hours police have been dispatched to five incidents involving suspected overdoses, at least two of which have been fatal.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~  July 23, 2021  (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were busy again last night, Thursday July 22,2021 with a familiar social housing drug dealer.

Officers entered the Thunder Bay Social Housing home of 39 year old JACQUELINE THOMAS at 228 Blucher Avenue after 9pm and found THOMAS with 2 female youths & quantity of fentanyl and cash.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~~  July 22, 2021 (LSNews)   Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were called to a Thunder Bay Social Housing building at 76 Cumberland Street South yesterday, Wednesday July 21,2022 after 2 female Housing workers were assaulted by a male.

Officers arrived quickly to investigate and arrested a suspect who also resisted arrest.
