Deadwolff Rock Thunder Bay on July 8

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  June 23, 2022  (LSNews)  Deadwolff is a New Wave of Heavy Rock n’ Roll three-piece band based out of Toronto, ON. Founded in 2020, Deadwolff is composed of Tommy Wolffe, on bass and vocals, Bobby Deuce, on guitars and backing vocals, Angus Pike on drums.

In late December of 2020, Boonsdale Records released the band’s debut EP digitally. Shortly after, Deadwolff signed with Metal Assault Records, based out of Los Angeles, and released their debut EP on cassette, which sold out quickly.

Their video for the single “Double up” was also released prior to the cassette and can be viewed on several youtube channels.

The concert will have local support from Wrong Odds, Shatterhorn, and the Selfies. 

Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is co-hosting this event to promote its upcoming festival September 8th to the 11th at the Definitely Superior Art Gallery! 

The 18th Annual Vox Popular Media Arts Festival is taking place from September 8th to the 11th in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The event will be held at the Definitely Superior Art Gallery in the old Cumberland Theatre at 115 Cumberland St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A 4K8 The festival will feature films of all genres from Northwestern Ontario, Canada and Internationally. There will be concerts, performance art, and a visual art exhibition, Q&As and discussions with the artists to share knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Select films and performances will also be available online during and after the festival.

Deadwolff is here to rock Thunder Bay on July 8th at Black Pirates Pub, co-presented by Vox Popular Media Arts Festival.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~   November 29, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have laid drug dealing charges on a suspected killer & accessory to murder. 

A 27 year old ISAAC TALBOT-HALL of Toronto and a 27 year old QUALYNN JENELLE LOON were both criminally charged with:

  • -possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

STAPLES ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED BY TBPS

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  November 29, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a robbery call yesterday, Monday November 28, 2022. 

It’s alleged that an indigenous male suspect was stealing merchandise in the Staples store at 767 Memorial Avenue. The suspect was asked to stop stealing and then pulled out a box cutter knife. 

The entire incident was captured on video surveillance.

THUNDER BAY, November 29, 2022 (LSNews)  So the Public Order Emergency Commission Inquiry into the Canadian government’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act to remove peaceful protesters of the Freedom Convoy from downtown core of the Canada’s capital city, Ottawa wrapped up on Friday, November  25th after six weeks of testimony. These are some of the high and low points I observed by reviewing key aspects of the testimonies of the Liberals most senior Cabinet members, the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, Attorney General David Lametti, and the Prime Minister himself, Justin Trudeau and the nation’s top cop RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki.

An indigenous male suspect had stolen merchandise and assaulted staff at the store. 

As TBPS Officers attempted to make an arrest, the suspect assaulted one Officer and resisted arrest.
