Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to call on Victoria Avenue East yesterday, Friday November 25, 2022

Officers learned an indigenous male suspect had approached a random citizen on the street brandishing a knife to commit a robbery. The incident was witnessed by citizens.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~  November 26, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a call at the Walmart located at 1010 Dawson Road yesterday, Friday November 25,2022. 

An indigenous male suspect had stolen merchandise and assaulted staff at the store. 

As TBPS Officers attempted to make an arrest, the suspect assaulted one Officer and resisted arrest.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~~   November 25, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have made another big gun & drug bust yesterday, Thursday November 24,2022 in Westfort on Amelia Street.

Fentanyl, cocaine, cash & three guns were seized.

Seven people were arrested.

2nd PEARL ST HARLEY BEDWASH-LOON ARRESTED FOR MURDER

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  November 25, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers arrested a man wanted on an arrest warrant for breaching his probation on Wednesday, November 23,2022.  He was held overnight at Balmoral Police Station and released by Justice of the Peace Nancy Tulloch on Thursday  November 24,2022

TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis failed to notify the public about the warrant or arrest. 

Shortly after his release, Thunder Bay Police arrested the same indigenous male suspect again and charged him with first-degree murder.

NIPIGON, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  November 24, 2022 (LSNews)  On November 21, 2022, members of the Nipigon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment conducted a traffic stop on Highway 11-17 in the Township of Nipigon. As a result of the traffic stop, two residents from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are facing several drug related charges.

LIQUOR THIEF BANNED FROM EVERY LCBO

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~  November 24, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers arrested an indigenous male suspect yesterday, Wednesday November 23,2022 after a bottle of 750 ml Crown Royal “Green Apple” Whiskey was stolen from the LCBO at Thunder Center.  

The male suspect was also wanted on a warrant for stealing a 750ml bottle of Bacardi rum on October 5,2022 and he has two outstanding liquor theft charges.
