On December 14, 2022, officers located a deceased person inside a multi-unit residence in the 200 block of Albert Street West.

Investigators determined foul play was involved in the death, and believe the victim was shot. Investigators determined 27-year-old Jared Scott is wanted for the following offences,

• Second Degree Murder
• Discharge Firearm with Intent
• Pointing a Firearm
• Possession of a Loaded Firearm
• Careless Use of a Firearm
• Carry Concealed Weapon
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Possession of a Firearm Knowing Possession is Unauthorized
• Fail to Comply with Condition of an Undertaking
• Fail to Comply with Condition of a Judicial Release Order
