JUNOT PARK ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED BY THUNDER BAY POLICE

Happening more in more across Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~~~  November 22, 2022 (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers responded to a violent robbery yesterday,Monday November 21, 2022 at Junot Park.

The intoxicated man began punching the pedestrian in the head approximately 9-10 times.

He then stole the victim’s blue iPhone 13.

A female Good Samaritan witnessed the attack. She phoned TBPS who were on the scene within minutes.

The intoxicated suspect was located and arrested by TBPS Officers.

It was also learned that the victim and assailant were unknown to each other.  This was a very random robbery.

A 40-year white male, DONALD ALLISON was criminally charged with:

  • -robbery

ALLISON has a lengthy criminal record of violence & theft, as well as a previous conviction for robbery.

ALLISON was held overnight at Balmoral Police Station and ordered released on $250 no deposit bail by Justice of the Peace Denette Ellard this morning, Tuesday November 22, 2022.

ALLISON has conditions:

  • -reside at Shelter House (420 George Street) -report any change of address to TBPS within 24 hours -not be intoxicated outside -no weapons -no contact with victim or witness

ALLISON has another court appearance on December 6, 2022

TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis has stopped reporting most robberies to the public and refuses to show photos of criminals.

Editor Notes:
This could happen to you or a member of your family anywhere in Thunder Bay
Whether it is being beaten to death on Victoria Ave or Murdered by the Thunder Bay Charity Casino or now walking minding your own business on Junot Ave by the Junot Fire Hall and Park

It will only get worse if City Council keeps supporting their Drug Strategy Committee and promotes that Junkies using Illegal Drugs or Alcoholics is not a criminal but a person with an illness
Similar to your Wife's Breast Cancer or your Prostrate Cancer
