Captured Jared Scott Albert Street West homicide investigation.

SAULT STE MARIE, ONTARIO  ~~~~  December  17, 2022 (LNews)  Thanks to the hardworking Patrol officers Soo Police Service report today , officers with Patrol Services arrested 27-year-old Jared Scott in connection with the Albert Street West homicide investigation.

Around 3:00 a.m., officers responded to an unrelated call for service in the 0-100 block of Grandview Avenue. Upon responding officers located the accused and they were arrested on the strength of a warrant for second degree murder, and other offences.

The accused is charged with,

• Second Degree Murder
• Possession of Weapons Dangerous
• Possession of Loaded Firearm
• Pointing Firearm
• Careless Use of a Firearm
• Carry Concealed Weapon
• Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
• Possession of a Firearm Knowing Possession is Unauthorized
• Fail to Comply with Condition of an Undertaking
• Fail to Comply with Condition of Judicial Release Order

The accused was held in custody pending a WASH court appearance. The investigation is ongoing.
