CHILD PORN ARREST BY THUNDER BAY POLICE

released on $1000 no deposit bail

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  January 20, 2023   (LSNews)  Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers have made an arrest after an investigation into child pornography.  

It’s alleged the white male suspect was in possession of child porn on January 7,2023. 

A white male suspect was arrested early this morning, Friday January 20,2023

A 62 year old GRANT WILKIE (September 7,1960) was criminally charged with:

• -possession of child pornography 

WILKIE was held in custody at a jail cell at Balmoral Police Station and ordered released on $1000 no deposit bail by Justice of the Peace Jerry Woods with conditions:

• -reside at his home in 300 block of Franklin Street North 
• -no contact with persons under the age of 16
• -do not attend parks, playgrounds, swimming pools or places persons under 16 might be
• -no use of internet unless supervised by an adult aware of his charges 

WILKIE has a future court appearance on March 3,2023 

Unfortunately, TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis has stopped notifying the public about most child porn arrests.
