THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~~~ January 29, 202` (LSN) The United Churches of Thunder Bay invite the public to an on-line presentation on how to not just survive but thrive during the pandemic.
Nancy Angus is the founder of the Thunder Bay-based social enterprise known as Age Big. She has developed programs for people to connect, engage, move and motivate each other to find meaning in daily pursuits.
Her talk on Sunday, Jan. 31st is called “The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Pandemic”. She’ll focus on strategies for growing connections in your life that will make your life better as you age.
Her project, Age [email protected] won the 2019 Social Innovation Challenge sponsored by the United Church of Canada.
Nancy currently organizes a Zoom-based program that connects seniors across the province with a wide range of expert speakers and on-line activities. This Sunday she’ll be doing a power-point presentation on useful tools and activities for coping with the restrictions put in place by the province to bring Covid-19 under control.
