Sault Blues Society Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis appeal was a great success

SAULT STE MARIE, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  April 4, 2022 (LSNews)  The Sault Blues Society and the Rock Star Bar are pleased to announce that last night’s Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis appeal was a great success. We collected just over $4,500.00 in total donations which will go directly to the Red Cross for the Humanitarian Crisis in the Ukraine.

The Sault Blues Society and the Rock Star bar paid all costs associated with this event including the musicians, production and printing costs.

Local musicians from Blues Shop – Mike Yurich, Mike McDonald, Steve Francis and Chris Johns played the evening backing up special guests Al Davis, Pete Cooper, Stuart Bolduc, Shirley Kominos, Paul DellaVedova and Ray Gassi joining in for a few songs each. It was a great jam session enjoyed by about 100 happy Blues fans in attendance.

Many thanks to all those that donated either at the door in person or via the Red Cross portal on line with a credit card which will continue to accept donations until the end of April. All donations of $20.00 or more will receive an official income tax receipt with proper mailing address and postal code.
