Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Concert

In Support of Neebing Emergency Services

NEEBING TOWNSHIP, ONTARIO  ~~~~~  October 30, 2022 (LSNews)  NFRA is honored to be supported by two bands who are volunteering their talents in a Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Concert, November 6th at Blake Hall. The tickets are available at Neebing Municipal Office.

Held at Blake Hall on Sunday, November 6, 2022

Doors open 1:15pm, concert starts at 2:00pm

Admission tickets $15 which includes coffee/tea and dessert.

Plus:

  • 50/50 draw
  • Silent and Live Auction

Tickets available at the Neebing Municipal Office, 4766 Hwy 61, starting October 3rd.

NFRA is honored to be supported by two bands who are volunteering their talents in a Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Concert, November 6th at Blake Hall. The tickets are available at Neebing Municipal Office.

Rob and Gary

Rob Donaldson and Gary Becotte have been playing together for the last 20 years and gracing the stages of Bluegrass Festivals featuring their old tyme music. Rob, on guitar, and Gary on guitar and 5 string banjo will be playing the first set.

Be prepared for them also providing more than a few laughs. They may have a surprise 3rd member of the band adding some mandolin. CDs of their music will be available for bidding at the auction.

Mink Mountain Revue

Mink Mountain Revue is a bluegrass and old tyme country music band featuring Ray Koenig on fiddle and vocals; Nancy Koenig on bass; Jim Bird on fiddle, mandolin and vocals; Jim Pike on guitar, mandolin and vocals and front man John Myers on guitar and vocals. The focus of the band is of fun and traditional music and often found entertaining at Senior homes and sold out fundraising events at Kakabeka Falls and Mink Mountain Resort. While stalled a bit with Covid restrictions the band is warming up again and recently entertained at the Neebing Canada Day celebrations and currently during the Gammondale Pumpkin Festival.

Each $15.00 event ticket will also include dessert and beverages and a door prize. Adding to the fund raiser will be a pie and craft auction and 50/50 draw. If you are finding it difficult to get to the Municipal office for tickets, message us (at nfraevents@gmail.com) and we can arrange for payment by etransfer and have your tickets reserved at the door. Only 100 tickets available.
