SAULT STE. MARIE, ONTARIO -  June 14, 2019   (LSN)  They’re baaa-aaack! The 2019 cruise ship season began this past weekend in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. This year, luxury passenger vessels will be docking here a total of 20 times between June and October. The ships are expected to bring 5,000 visitors, which will inject around $750,000 of direct spending into the local economy.

Sault Ste Marie, ONTARIO   -  May 12,  2019   (LSN) This year, you can go With The Family. The WTF Festival is returning to Sault Ste. Marie. Taking place June 6 to 8, the 2019 event features a number of family-friendly entertainment, including a star-studded variety show, magic and improv workshops, and a Grease movie showing and sing-a-long.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing comedy back with the second-annual WTF Festival,” said Alana Kenopic, Manager of Sports Tourism & Special Events for the Sault Ste. The season includes two old favourites of the series with Valdy and Johannes Linstead, along with the fantastic Juno-nominated soul/blues group Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar.

All of these performers have earned at least one Juno nomination, marking the continued high standards of this annual series.

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO   -  March 23, 2019   (LSN) The festival will be held outside on the shores of Lake Superior at the beautiful Thunder Bay Marina Park. The beginning of July has always seen excellent weather. Expect a fair sky with typical temperatures between 18ºC and 25ºC (64ºF - 77ºF).

The Lake Superior Circle Tour in northern Wisconsin (highway 13), loops around Lake Superior state highways in the US states of Michigan, Minnesota (highway 61) and Wisconsin and provincial highways in the Canadian province of Ontario (highway 17). These highways are usually the closest to the lake.
