COOK COUNTY, MINNESOTA - February 7, 2018  (LSN)  Another round of snowfall will arrive this afternoon and evening from west to east, with snowfall continuing tonight and through the day Thursday. and into Friday  With 6 to 12 inches or 15 to 30 cm 

This long period of snowfall will result in a storm total of 5-8"+ for the Northland, with locally higher amounts possible along the Lake Superior shoreline. This snowfall is likely to impact the Thursday morning commute due to snow causing roads to be slippery, and visibility as low as a half mile or less at times. Snow ends Thursday afternoon and evening from west to east.

Thunder Bay and the northshore can expect A significant snowfall is expected to begin near Lake Superior early Thursday morning and spread northeastward towards James Bay throughout the day. The latest analysis suggests snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm are possible by the time the snow ends on Friday.

The Lake Superior Circle Tour in northern Wisconsin (highway 13), loops around Lake Superior state highways in the US states of Michigan, Minnesota (highway 61) and Wisconsin and provincial highways in the Canadian province of Ontario (highway 17).
